Scott M. Rosso is the Principal Attorney and founder of Rosso Legal, P.A., a boutique litigation firm dedicated to representing policyholders in first-party property claims for both residential and commercial clients, as well as handling bodily injury and criminal defense matters. With over twenty years of courtroom experience, Mr. Rosso has built a reputation for tenacity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to securing full and fair compensation in civil matters and achieving justice for his clients.

Mr. Rosso began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, Florida, where he honed his trial skills by prosecuting a broad spectrum of felony and misdemeanor cases. He subsequently shifted to insurance defense, gaining inside knowledge of carrier practices while defending insurers against claims involving homeowner and commercial property losses, premises liability, and automobile negligence.

Prior to establishing Rosso Legal, P.A., Mr. Rosso led the First-Party Property Department at a prominent plaintiff’s firm, managing a team of attorneys and support staff and recovering millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements. He received two distinct honors from nationally recognized legal organizations:
